Emergency food service for those in need in the city of Des Moines, Washington, most of Seatac, and the west hill of Kent, Washington.
The Des Moines Area Food Bank is open for full-service visits Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 9 am – 11:45 am, and on the 3rd Tuesday evening of the month from 6 pm – 8 pm. Seniors who arrive before 9 am receive priority service. You can visit the food bank for full-service once per month, plus two bonus visits per year for a total of 14 visits per calendar year.
The Bread & Produce room is open Monday through Friday from 9 am – 2:30 pm. You can visit this room as many times during the month as you choose.
Enter the front door of the food bank (lower level of the Des Moines United Methodist Church, west side of the building). If this is your first visit to the Des Moines Area Food Bank this year, we will have additional paperwork for you to fill out.
